Moving monologue of improvised dance.
The starting point is the intention of representing, through dance, agile and precise traits that a painter is improvising on a blank canvas, his gestures are translated into lines, circles, spirals, dots spots, etc. .. that make up the choreography. Creating directions, tensions, gaps, colors, shadows, the painter, in the privacy of his office, the painter composed the picture that is the expression of those gestures. The attempt is to find a language of movement that allows to translate and represent the artistic expression,  that is dynamic and ecstatic at the same time. The music is the structure on which dance improvisation develops. A bench or a chair on stage: epicenter, focus, pathways and turning points. As an introduction to the work on the body, with colored markers in his hand, the performer “in situ” carries on a white panel  a sketch or monologue, that is preamble to the movements that follow. Improvisation is influenced by several permanent factors, music, public space and time. Factors that are necessary to ensure that each improvisation is unique and spontaneous.
